Bos Brasserie
From 1932 untill 2014 the building of Zoomers aan het Bos serviced as the first youth hostel of Holland. Afterwards it transformed to hotel Huize Koningsbosch. From the beginning of 2024 Zoomers aan het Bos transformed to a stylish modern age boutique hotel and restaurant, where quailty, comfort en and hospitality are raised to a high level. Zoomers aan het Bos is part of Zoomers, a beach resort on the dutch coast of Castricum. Here you can also find the famous strandhotel Zoomers which is het the hotel on the beach. This hotel also contains our gift and beach shop. On the beach you wil also find strandpaviljoen Zoomers which is our other restaurant.


Our chef
We would like you to meet our head chef Carsten Röbling. Carsten left Germany on his 25th birthdayto come to Holland. He was an intern at Dieter Müller (Schlosshotel Lehrbach) and Joachim Wissler (restaurant Vendôme).
In his long career he worked with Dutch chefs like John Halvemaan, Pieter de Ronde and Alan Pearson. Carsten was a former chef de cuisine in famous restaurants as Het Roode Koper (Leuvenum), Aagje Deken (Middenbeemster), Den Burgh (Hoofddorp) and Augusta (IJmuiden).
He describes his dishes as pure, seasonal, top of the line quality products with respect of the animal.
De Bos Brasserie is also called the fireplace room because of the big traditional fireplace in the middle. This room is especially designed to enoy, slow down and connect. We’re looking forward to welcome you!
