Racoon survival – Fire assured

A one-hour workshop where your team learns how to reliably start a fire using natural materials. What do you do when you have only one match left? And what should you bring on a nature expedition to ensure you can start a fire anywhere?

Cost: 35,00 excl. VAT p.p. and a minimum of 8 participants is required. Should you wish to book this activity with 6/7 people it costs 40,- p.p. excl. VAT. The maximum group size is 25 persons. More persons can be discussed and depends on the availability of our partners.


Racoon survival – knife techniques for convience

One hour workshop where you will learn some useful cutting techniques that will help you learn how to make a pot hook. A pot hook is a handy cooking device made of branches cut in a certain way that allows you to adjust the height of a kettle over a flame. When the water is boiling, it can be used to make a good tea.

Cost: 35.00 excl. VAT p.p. and a minimum of 8 participants is required. The maximum group size is 25 people. More people can be discussed and even then depends on the availability of our partners.

Racoon survival – The primitive art of fire

A two-hour workshop where you will first learn to find combustible material in nature and then start making fire with modern tools.
Then you will go in pairs or solo to make fire with a fire bow. An ancient technique that our ancestors used to make fire.

Cost: 46.00 excl. VAT p.p. and a minimum of 8 participants is required. The maximum group size is 25 people. More persons can be discussed and then depends for a while on the availability of our partners.


Racoon survival – Soup with wild plants

A two-hour workshop in which plants are collected during an excursion in the surrounding area, which together with historical vegetables from the “Duin Tuin”. The ingredients form a delicious vegetarian vegetable soup. In Castricum is a Biologically Dynamic store of the DuinTuin. The soup is prepared in a large kettle or over a burner and if possible over an open fire.

Cost: 46.00 excl. VAT p.p. and a minimum of 8 participants is required. The maximum group size is 25 people. More persons can be discussed and then depends a little on the availability of our partners.

All workshops can be booked throughout the year except the ‘Soup with Wild Plants’. This can be booked from May to October.

Wim Castricum – De Wim hof Methode

Under the guidance of a certified Wim Hof instructor, learn about the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing Technique, Cold Training and Mindset/Focus. Find out how you can optimize your body and mind through oxygen and cold and what physiological processes underlie this. The Wim Hof breathing session is also a short cut to total relaxation. The ice bath experience provides a pure moment in contact with yourself and a sense of victory.

Stichting oerij – Cycling or walking routes in nature

Feel like going out after your meeting? One of the guides of Stichting Oerij will gladly take you on a tour through the beautiful countryside of Castricum. This can be done by bicycle or on foot.


The minimum cost for an excursion is € 50.00. From 10 persons there is € 5.00 per person added.
The group size: walking 20 persons, cycling 15 persons (for safety reasons)
Minimum group size 6 persons.

Bosw8ter – Nature experience walk

Round through the woods of Castricum with stories from the past and present. And special attention for those things you otherwise always pass by. The walk takes about 1.5 hours, giving you a wonderful moment of relaxation during the meeting.

Cost: 150,00 in total. A minimum of 5 participants is required. Maximum group size is 20 people.


Bosw8ter – Workshop photography with mobile

Get out with your mobile. You will learn how to take even more beautiful photos and even more fun, you will soon know what is in your picture! A delightful combination of nature, photography and stimulating entertainment.
Costs: starting rate €200 max number of participants 15 á €20 p.p. A minimum of 5 participants is required. Maximum group size is 20 people.


Bosw8ter – Nature experience

Lecture of about 1.5 hours about nature in general, including zapped animals and all kinds of other finds from nature. A delightful story full of stimulating humour about how we humans interact with nature.
Cost: 175.00 in total. A minimum of 5 participants is required. Maximum group size is 20 people.

Dredging with Gjalt on the beach

Gjalt from De Natuurnatuurlijk takes you on a special excursion and teaches you to discover the sea in a unique way. Corralling with Gjalt starts with a fascinating introduction and an inspiring introduction. With his enthusiasm and wonderful stories, he takes you into his passion for the North Sea and its hidden treasures. Then it’s time for action: together we drag a net through the water, straight from the beach – and sometimes even into the sea! A real adventure where we hope to catch and admire some special sea creatures up close. A unique experience that lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours full of nature, discovery and fun.

Costs: Price is negotiable. Furthermore, there is no minimum or maximum group size. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this unique experience.

Rascha – Wild plant walk

Learn to distinguish the major plant families on an educational walk. Experience recognising active ingredients like bitter, mucilage, tannic acid. Encounter the energetic signature of different plants.

Cost 120.00 and maximum 12 persons. There is no minimum number of people.
